UTFPR-TPC: Twitter Presidential Candidates 2018

1. Dataset:

This dataset contains almost two months of tweets collected in the year of 2018 during the election period in Brazil, where more than 5000 tweets were collected every day involving the accounts of Brazilian presidential candidates through the TwitterStreamingImporter plugin of the Gephi platform which is used in the visualization and formatting of graphs and networks.

2. Data Description:

The dataset contains a total of 43 days of tweets collected during the election period in Brazil where the names of users of presidential candidates on Twitter were used as reference (alvarodias, cabodaciolo, cirogomes, eymaeloficial, geraldoalckmin, GuilhermeBoulos, meirelles, jairbolsonaro, joaoamoedonovo, joaogoulart54, marinasilva, haddad_fernando). In addition all data collected on a given day can be accessed directly by Gephi since they were saved in the standard format (.gephi).
